Join Marvin Dykhuis and Marshall Hood for a songwriting and guitar-playing workshop! The curriculum includes finding melodies and harmonies within the chords you choose for your songs; finding fills and grace notes to make your performance more exciting; finding hook lines to make your performance and demos more finished; basic chord substitutions to vary chord structure with melody; and coming up with song ideas for lyrics and how to expand on those thoughts.

What's Happening?
Austin Band Camp is located at 604 W Mary Street, the home of Sessions on Mary and the residence of John & Carol. We'll provide free beer, water, and snacks. The only thing you have to bring is your instrument and enjoy learning, chilling, and playing! Everyone is welcome!
